One thing that happens when you are an expat is that you get to view things with a bit of perspective that is missing when you are at home surrounded by like minded friends and family. Your friends tend to be from all over the world and bring into any discussion an outside view. That is good because too many people like to stay in a group of like mindedness which narrows down the perspective on any subject.
My goal is to look at current events and world events from the broader perspective.
